🧬 Palworld Breeding Guide: 287×287 Complete Combos
40,972 breeding edges · Palworld 1.0 + Sakurajima + Feybreak
How Breeding Works: Parents Determine the Child
Palworld breeding is based on parent pairs. Each pair of parents (gender-independent) produces 1-2 fixed children. The child's rarity follows a probability distribution: normal 60% / Alpha 35% / Lucky 5%.
- Child = lookup result of parent pair, not random
- Stronger parents tend to produce stronger children - Jormuntide + any dragon parent often produces a dragon boss
- Breeding passes skills, not stats - child stats = child species baseline
- There is an inbreeding penalty - too-close bloodlines reduce rarity
Wondering what two Pals produce? Try our Breeding Calculator - it supports forward queries (parent + parent → child), reverse queries (I want X, give me parents), and shortest-path queries (minimum steps to breed a target from what you already have).

Pro Tips: How to Get Target Pals Fast
- Use the shortest-path query - want Jormuntide but no dragon parents? The calculator finds combos from Pals you already own
- One pair per Ranch - splitting up Pals across multiple Ranches is fastest
- Shiny rate depends on parent breedPower - higher breedPower parents = higher shiny odds
- Don't use egg incubators with time boosts - they reduce rarity probability
