It deals less damage than the  Pump-action Shotgun, though its higher rate of fire and magazine capacity make it better at dealing quicker bursts of damage up close. The Semi-Auto Shotgun also has higher  Durability than most other shotguns, though it's still lower than other weapons unlocked around the same time as it.
